Since one of my main reasons for switching to a period cup, and now a period disc, has always been to produce less waste and support the environment, I really appreciated that Mooneva considered this too. So, how was my experience using Mooneva? I’ve been using a period cup for over four years now, so I’m already quite comfortable with my body and I knew it might take some time to get used to the disc and figure out the most comfortable way to insert it. During the first 48 hours (thankfully it was the weekend, so I stayed home), I experienced some leaking because I was still figuring out how to position it correctly. I reached out to the Mooneva team for help, and they patiently guided me step by step—which really helped me stay calm and not give up. By the third day, after a lot of trial and error, I finally found the right angle and a comfortable insertion method. After that, I had no leaking at all, and I was able to wear it for up to 12 hours comfortably. I’m genuinely very happy with my new disc, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience easier, more comfortable periods, with less waste for the planet! 🌿✨

I used this product. I will say it was a bit scary at first. But it went well actually! Only note: it was always difficult to get it out. But it never leaked, felt very safe throughout the use. insertion and during the wearing time all went great. But I know, practice makes the difference. I just went with the size I also use for the menstrual cup: the small one. I just usually change the device 3 to sometimes even 4 times on the first day when it’s really heavy bleeding. The rest of the period time twice a day changing. That does the job well and also ensures the feeling that everything’s still clean.
